About Heide

Heide’s coaching philosophy is rooted in evidence-based practices, recognizing that health habits are shaped by our emotions and beliefs. Using a values-based approach, she focuses on increasing awareness and shifting these beliefs to empower individuals to make choices that lead to lasting change. In a health industry flooded with information, Heide is passionate about providing clarity and helping each person find what works best for their unique lifestyle and needs. Her goal is to support others in creating sustainable habits that promote peace, clarity, and physical and emotional wellbeing.

Heide earned her certification in health and wellness coaching through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in 2020, obtaining her Board Certification shortly after in 2021. She has since worked as a health coach with experience in women’s health, weight management, movement, nutrition, stress management, mental health, sleep health, and chronic pain. A lifelong learner, Heide is continuously delving into books, resources, and courses to enhance and improve her practice.

Heide currently resides in Grand Rapids, MI. Outside of work, she enjoys weightlifting, yoga, and a long walk with a podcast (most often when it’s warmer!). She also loves getting creative in the kitchen, buying books faster than she can read them, traveling to explore new cultures, and quality time with friends and family.

Heide is a National Board-Certified Health & Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC). She is committed to honoring the continuing education and scope, ethics, and privacy practices outlined by the National Board for Health & Wellness Coaching.
